Delete your Havalook account

This section explains how to delete an account in Havalook, the app for homeowners and tradespeople published by Havalook LLC, and what happens to your data when you do.

How to request deletion

1. Email support@letshavalook.com from the email address on your account.
2. Use the subject line “Account Deletion”.
3. Include the name and phone number on the account so we can confirm it is yours.

We confirm receipt, verify the request, and complete deletion within 30 days. We email you when it is done.

What we delete

• Your account and login credentials
• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your profile photo and any profile text
• Your address and service-area information
• For professionals: trade credentials and employment history you submitted
• Content you uploaded and messages exchanged through the app

What we keep, and for how long

• Transaction records — payment amounts, dates, and payment method type, kept for up to seven years to meet tax and accounting obligations. We never hold full card numbers; those are held by our payment processor, Stripe, under its own policy.
• Backup copies — deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being overwritten.
• Records required by law — information we are legally required to keep, or need to resolve an open dispute or prevent fraud, is kept only as long as that obligation lasts.

Deleting some data without closing your account

You can ask us to delete specific information — such as a photo or a message — while keeping your account. Email the same address with “Data Deletion” in the subject line and describe what you want removed.

Privacy requests

To request access to or correction of your personal information, email support@letshavalook.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We respond in accordance with applicable United States privacy laws, generally within 30 to 45 days.
